Day 21

The other day while in Little Rock I just had to run into Michaels. I couldn't believe how much new stuff there was. It's been 2 years since my last time in a Michaels...too long I know but we live in the boonies and rarely get to the larger cities. DH stayed in the truck while I had a browse through the store. One of the treats I bought for myself was my first bottle of Prima Flowers...they are adorable! I plan to use these on cards and in some hybrid projects. Now that I've seen the flowers and bottles in person I'll most likely be purchasing some more online.
My Canon battery died on me, we went to every store within a 50 mile radius looking for a new one with no luck. We went 100 miles to Little Rock trying to find one at circuit city with no luck. I found one online, good old ebay, and it's here so I'm back in action!

Day 10

Today we are supposed to have the brightest Moon of 2009. I was hoping to get a shot of it but worried it would be hidden by clouds since it's been such an overcast and rainy day today. At 6:00 p.m. I went out in the yard and got this shot. The moon isn't crystal clear because of clouds and the fact that I couldn't figure out what setting to use for a moonlight shot LOL I'm happy with it though. This photo is straight out of my camera.

Day 8

I was so surprised to see this little guy sitting on top of the garden hose. It was a sunny day today with no rains, but cold and windy.

Day 7

I wasn't able to stay online long enough to upload my photo yesterday. The rains and winds had everything messed up around here the last few days LOL This photo says it all...water, water, water!

Day 6

We have had 4 straight days of rain storms, when it rains I crave homemade soup and lots of it!
When I make a pot of soup I also bake some biscuits and a pan of cornbread, I like biscuits and DH likes his cornbread. As far as he's concerned cornbread goes with everything, especially soup.
I'm hoping it doesn't rain tomorrow because I don't want to make another pot of soup LOL
Tonight's menu was: Homemade Beef Vegetable Soup, Salad, Cornbread and Biscuits.

Day 5

Our temps were just above freezing all day and it rained all day long. I took this shot at noon, you would think it was late evening rather than half way through the day. These Cardinals had no interest in flying or visiting the feeders LOL

Day 4

This is my 7 month old Mule, Roscoe. I took this photo today after he had some fun running in the mud. We have always loved Mules and had the world's greatest Mule but he passed away in 2004. I hope this little guy turns out as gentle and loving as our other mule was.

Thank you for the wonderful comments on my photos, Ya'll are too sweet!
